I am ONLY giving a 1 star because giving no stars is not an option. The people that are over Hixon's are so unprofessional & heartless! They have no compassion & should not be dealing with people at all muchless people who are hurting! It's all about the money. This review is not because of one incident. We, unfortunately, have lost several family members in the last 3 years & Hixon's was awful. So many things done wrong & just heartless!!!This past time we changed from them to Myers Colonial. Mr. Myers & his whole staff was so sweet & accomodating!!! Do yourself a favor & choose another funeral service to be there for your family during this emotional & hurtful time in your life! It really says something that they don't have a director for DeRidder or Leesville. Everything is done out of Lake Charles.
Management has changed and is now from Leesville. The only focus throughout my dealing with them was money! Would never recommend this or any Dignity Memorial.
