I recently requested a quote for transmission work to be done. It took a few days to get back to me. I received a call from keith the owner of smith's personally contacting me after business hours to give my quote. What a great person to deal with. It shows how dedicated he is to his business and customer service.
Smiths is fantastic. I was informed of all that was going on with my vehicle every step of the process. I was informed of the time frame in which my vehicle would be worked on and they were true to their word. Any and all questions that I had were answered and explained in detail. Drop off and pick up of the vehicle was easy, which I sometimes have trouble with due to my work schedule, but they worked with me on the time. My vehicle runs like new now, I would definitely recommend Smith Transmission Services. Thank you Smiths for helping me and for being honest about the repairs.

There's crooked, shady shops and then there's upfront, honest shops! I took my vehicle to a large dodge dealership in Lake Charles and was told it would be a estimated $4200 for a complete transmission rebuild because of worn out and broken parts in my transmission. I decided to pick it up and take it to Smiths. They fixed it one day with just a replacement of a simple pressure sensor! The owner called and explained the complete plan to diagnose and then called back and explained the fix in detail. Excellent, honest folks to deal with!! They also came very highly recommended!
