This store is horrible. They force you to buy pre-owned and try to make you feel bad when you want to purchase a game new. If you go into there to buy a new game they are always trying to sell you downloadable content or strategy guides with it. Even when you say no, they keep persisting. The staff is rude and half of them look like they are high on drugs when you go in there. I will shop online or at Walmart before shopping at this GameStop. The store is a mess and the employees use language that is beyond acceptable in a business establishment.
Here is an honest review from someone who has been to this GameStop since the year it opened. I have never had a bad experience at any GameStop in my lifetime, and this store was no different. Very friendly staff, they make suggestions as to what you might like based on your past purchases, and they help you out finding a game your looking for. The person we like the most at this particular store is Kayla. She has helped us out in finding what we're looking for and has told us about some things we might like based on past purchases at the store. She has been at the counter the most times we've been there, so she knows who we are. I recently made a call to this shop, and the person at the phone was a guy named Chris. I asked him some questions about PowerUp Rewards stuff, and about my LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens pre-order. He was very nice and answered my questions. The one thing, however, that I don't like about this shop is that the toys-to-life section doesn't have much stuff there compared to the ones up in Alexandria, but I understand this is not a huge community and this is the ONLY GameStop in Beauregard Parish. Overall, this is a great store, and for those who love games and live in the Parish, you should come check this store out!
